What to expect
We will initially arrange a brief telephone call (free of charge) to discuss whether I am able to support you with your difficulties, and that you feel comfortable working with me. If I don’t feel I’m the best person to meet your needs, I will recommend you receive support elsewhere (for example I don’t have adequate experience working with bi-polar, personality disorders, psychosis or schizophrenia).
When we meet for the first time (via video call), I will gently and kindly ask you further questions about your difficulties and what you hope to get out of our sessions together. I aim for us to work together to find a way to reach your goals, using compassion and empathy throughout.

Therapy involves talking about your difficulties, and working towards agreed goals. I offer different types of therapy, but ultimately it will be a space for you to talk about what is going on with you and for us to work together to make changes. We may decide to use one type of therapy, or use a combination / integrative approach.
